SEX AND THE VIRGIN

SEX AND THE VIRGIN

Sex could refer to the gender of an individual; it could also refer to the core foundation of all human beings’ psychological issues. Anne’s virginity didn’t seem so important to her until Rock tried to make her lose it. Anne thought about the struggle she would go through if she had lost her virginity, she thought it  would be the most excruciating one yet…She thought about the look on her mother’s eyes if she told her, she felt that the whole world would be pointing fingers at her, she thought she might even lose her identity...
Throughout her childhood and her adolescence, Anne was trained to appreciate her private body and keep it treasured and safe. The idea was simple; having sex the wrong way with the wrong person can lead to all sorts of wrong events. The risk might include: unwanted pregnancy, STD (sexually transmitted disease), and the worst of them all a “Fdei7a” (Lebanese for embarrassment), or at least that’s what her mother said.
Anne was only 14 when her mother dwelled on sexual sophistication. She explained: “the risk is simply not worth it, for only a few minutes of pleasure that is it if you get any…” When Anne asked her mother, “how do I know when the right time and who is the right man”, her mother simply replied “you would be married, and he would be your lawful husband!”
As Anne’s sexual lust grew along with her age, she became rather more flexible with the idea of sex that her mother already implemented. As she became 18, her untold thoughts were that she doesn’t necessarily need to jump into the fire, but she could, and will, dance around it. She thought to herself everyone cares about what is seemingly there, but no one will know the details. She was ready to have some fun, as long as her treasured virginity remains the same!
Rock was the definition of fun to Anne now. He was charming, and she was charmed! He picked her up at 7, in his Escalade and as she climbed in, he complimented her saying “Psshhhhh, shu hal 7elo” (a Lebanese compliment). When he asked where she wanted to go, she replied “Surprise me”, and that’s exactly what he did!
Half an hour later, Anne found herself in Faraya (a Lebanese Ski Area). She wanted to seem as bold as she could even though she was terribly nervous as he took her to his chalet. It was a very chic Chalet with two fireplaces, and leather couches. They sat down for a while and chatted while having Spanish white wine. Rock started telling Anne about every near-death experience he had, and elaborated on every manly macho thing he ever did. The young and naive Anne was of course impressed.
After Rock finished his showing off, he came close to Anne and said: “Do you know what tastes good with wine”, charmed Anne innocently replied: “Cheese?” Rock laughed and said: “No…My lips”. Before Anne could react the two were already making out, it was the most exhilarating kiss ever! (Even though she was only kissed once before). Anne’s body was automatically moving towards Rock’s, she was too excited for her own good, and she felt as if she was born to kiss Rock. At this moment Anne didn’t care about her mother, religion, or society…Anne was slowly giving in!
By now, Rock was moving from Anne’s lips to her neck as his hands started exploring Anne’s body. Anne couldn’t open her eyes; she was having the time of her life. She breathed heavily as his hands moved up and down her lustful body. She wanted him…she wanted him bad! As Anne’s mouth grew dry, and her legs started shivering, Rock whispered to her ears: “let’s go to the bedroom!”
Suddenly everything fell apart.  Anne just stared at Rock, this was her wakeup call! She said that she was fine where they are, and that she actually “wasn’t feeling so good” and that she wanted to go home. Anne’s lust turned to fear!
Anne felt like a 5 year old toddler that had just lost her mother in the market. She was terrified of the idea that she is stuck with a stranger away from home in his Chalet. The “very much horny” Rock replied by saying: “I can make you feel better baby”, while caressing Anne’s neck and sticking his hand down Anne’s pants.
Anne was terrified now, she pushed him away and said “No, I want to go home” …Of course Rock was now mad as hell, for Anne just killed his buzz. He started saying atrocious things to Anne. He asked her why she agreed to come to the chalet if she didn’t want him, and then accused her of acting all elegant and charming when she is just a scared little girl! Anne looked down and apologized to Rock explaining that she didn’t know this was going to happen. Rock then rolled his eyes and said “Com’on I’ll take you home, so you could sleep next to your teddy bear and be safe”.
The ride back home was the next terrible thing. Rock was driving like a mad man while talking on the phone with another girl, who apparently agreed to meet him at her apartment in a few minutes. Then Rock told Anne that he is going to drop her off at some highway because he was in a hurry, and doesn't want to "waste any more time"!

There she was, in the middle of nowhere, standing alone and scared. Anne felt as if she was naked and everyone was staring at her. She was ashamed; she was shocked…She was a Virgin Hooker!

The Man Hunt – Part 2

The Man Hunt – Part 2

The first karaoke bar was a complete failure for all three girls. Anne’s hunk was a taken one, and no one even attempted to buy the girls a straw, let alone a drink! The verdict was out, all three girls convicted the karaoke bar with a death sentence, they all agreed it was the bar’s fault and they should go somewhere else…and so they did.
The next bar looked chic, the décor was all black and white, the music was classy jazz and no one was throwing up at the door. They thought it would be the perfect venue for the perfect gentlemen… This time the girls wanted to seem older and classier, thus Anne ordered white wine, Sandy ordered Red wine and sweet Shadya went for the sweet rosé. This time Anne was possessed with Audrey Hepburn. Legs crossed, back straight, and cigarette held by two perfect straight fingers.  The classy act worked! Three gentlemen approached the ladies’ table. The first one had short brown hair and a matching semi-thick beard, along with a black blazer and blue jeans, his name was Samer. The second one had an “I am all that” look, neat black hair, and a white bedazzled shirt; his name was Karim. The third one, Anne’s favourite, had the bad-boy look. He was bold, had a lizard tattoo on his neck, and a beautiful muscular tall body, his name was Rock (things couldn’t get better for Anne).
Karim initiated the conversation while looking at Sandy; he asked if they could share the table since the bar was almost full (which was not true). Anne interrupted by “Sure!”, while looking at Rock in the eyes and smiling seductively. Each one of the boys grabbed a chair and unleashed the “Jagal” charm. A few jokes and a couple of drinks later, the plot was clear. Karim was Sandy’s, Samer was Shadya’s, and of course Rock was Anne’s. Anne’s newly found bad boy owned a music store in Jounieh, and a bar in Batroun, in other words he was financially secured, edgy, and “freakin’ Hot”. The girls took the guys’ number and promised to call back the next day, which was of course an empty promise.
Driving back home, Sandy carried a serious tone saying how those guys are looking for “booty calls” and “one-night-stands”, and reassured Anne that they shouldn’t call them …”not ever !” Shadya agreed, elaborating that the night was fun while it lasted. Anne carried an even more serious tone, reassuring Sandy that what happened at the classy bar will stay at the classy bar! However, Anne’s plan was the complete opposite…
The next night, Anne texted Rock: “went shopping for a guitar with a friend, and thought about you…thanks for the other night :)”. Of course the text was sent while Anne was eating ice cream in bed and watching “Sex and the City”, in fact Anne didn’t know anyone who was even remotely interested in guitars. A few minutes later Anne’s phone started ringing. She immediately dropped the ice cream and brought back the “Audrey Hepburn act”. Once she said “hello” Rock answered in a “pissed off” tone, saying how could you do this to me, “Ma32oul Rassik!!??” (Lebanese for: is your head possible? Or in other words: what is wrong with you?) …Anne’s “classy act” soon dropped as her pride suddenly kicked in, and so she replied with confusion “Yee…shu beik??? (another Lebanese expression for what’s wrong with you???!!! PS: the word "yee" doesn't have a synonym in the English language
Apparently this was Rock’s idea of trolling Anne! Funny Rock was pretending to be upset of Anne for going “guitar shopping” to another store. The joke added more charm to Rock’s character as the phone conversation lasted for a little over 20 minutes. Anne felt a guilty and excited as she agreed to see Rock for another date. She felt a sense of betrayal after she promised Sandy not to contact him, but the wild temptress inside of her couldn’t help but dive in to the wild experience with the bad boy.
The next night Anne dressed to impress and told the folks at home that she was going out with Shadya and some friends. As she waited for Rock to pick her up in his black Escalade, she called Shadya telling what she was about to do… Shadya reprimanded her, warning Anne that she was taking this too far, and that something bad could happen. Anne argued with silly excuses as if she knows it all…in fact what is going to happen to Anne was beyond anyone’s expectations…Soon enough Anne would discover that the bad boy is in fact….A BAD BOY!!!

The Man Hunt

The Man Hunt

Anne’s inner temptress was aching for something new, a diversion from her newly found crush towards her buddy Ahmed. Desperate for a wild summer night, Anne digged deep and unleashed the animal inside of her, as she was determined to a hunting mission. The game sounded intriguing to Anne, but she wanted more…she wanted more players…she wanted a challenge!
Sandy, Anne, and Shadya are now almost equally experienced when it comes to boys. They all had a few more weeks before summer ended, as they all wanted something exciting to call it a wild one. The Time was a hot summer Night, the location was the vibrant city of Beirut, and the game was “A Man Hunt”!

The rules were simple; each girl had to get a guy to buy her a drink. The First bar was a karaoke one. The wild and, thirsty –for- attention, Anne had a wild scheme in her head; but first she needed to get tipsy to grow the guts for it. For this special night, Anne wore skin-tight jeans, and a sexy white shirt that complemented the “girls” (the boobs).  Stomach tucked in, heels that go for miles, and the smashing outfit, where everything Anne needed to dazzle and charm a hot hunk. 2 beers and 4 tequila shots away, Anne became tipsy…
She had her eyes set on a guy sitting alone at the bar sipping on a glass of Jack Daniels. He had broad shoulders, a crooked nose, and a “to-die- for” smile. Her mind was set, as if the only reason she was born for was to get this guy’s attention. He looked her way… she smiled…he smiled… she blushed…he rose his glass to her salute…she walked towards him…
Sandy and Shadya, were confused, “where is she going?”! Anne whispered something to the hostess of the Karaoke program, and went back to the table. When Sandy and Shadya asked what she was doing, Anne said it’s a surprise, which is code for “Jursa” (a Lebanese expression for and embarrassment). A song by “EMF” called “You’re unbelievable” started playing, as the hostess handed the microphone to Anne. Sandy and Shadya’s jaws dropped to the ground, as Anne got of the chair, held the microphone, and unleashed her inner Madonna.

Ps: Link to the song will help your imagination http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKYcgMU-nJQ

The song was sexy, outrageous, and loud…and so was Anne! The floor wasn’t good enough for her, and so she took off the painful high heels, and climbed up the bar, where she whipped her hair, shook her money-maker, and moved like a professional 30 year old “go-go dancer”. Every man in the bar starred, and every woman gave Anne a disgusted look! Anne was satisfied, she was sure that the mystery man had absolutely no choice but to notice her. By the time Anne finished her erotic number, some clapped, some kept staring, and some yelled: “dakhilooo” (vulgar Lebanese compliments).
Anne’s confidence was sky-high as she went back to her seat feeling like Beyoncé had possessed her. Then the most anticipated moment has come to prevail. The hunk by the bar got of his chair and walked towards Anne, while she pretended that she didn’t notice him. She smiled as if she was the queen of the world, until the most unexpected bummer happened.
As the hunk walked, a Burnett with legs longer than a song for “Um Kalthom”, walked in the bar, and kissed the hunk while he was half-way to Anne. She said to him “Baby, sorry am late”. And just like that, every scenario Anne had prepared for this occasion, had gone to waste …The hunk had a girlfriend…but the Man hunt is nowhere near over!

The Turkish Delight!

The Turkish Delight!

Anne, Shadya, and Sandy gathered for a girl’s night out at a local sushi restaurant in Ashrafieh, Beirut. To some sushi was disgusting raw fish full of warms that feed on your flesh and kill you; to others it was the kind of meal that makes you seem sophisticated and classy. To Anne and the girls, sushi was their way of saying we have some boy’s talk to do…
Shadya came back from turkey looking slightly different, but sort of the same. She had this smile on her face and a mysterious glow and Anne was all over it. Even though Shadya was on vacation with her mother, she still managed to have some sort of naughty adventure. They were staying at this 3 star hotel, in a city by the beach called Marmaris. The hotel was old, the room service was terrible, but the pool was amazing.
Shadya earned the nickname “fish” in middle school, due to her love for the water and swimming. She had been swimming since she was five. When Shadya told her mother that the school coach wanted her to participate in national swimming competitions, she immediately stopped Shadya’s swimming classes as she later moved her to a school that didn’t have a swimming pool. The idea was that swimming is cool as a hobby, but anything more than that is a “complete useless deviation from her bright future”.
One day in Marmaris, Shadya woke up at 5am; she could hear the pool calling her name. She put on her bathing suit, and dove in for her forbidden pleasured swim. All she saw and felt was the water, but little did she know, someone was watching her. As she came out of the water, she heard a distant clapping, so she cleared her ears, thinking it was too much water inside. Then she heard a giggle, and there he was…. Tanned, built, and Turkish!
She felt embarrassed, for just a moment ago she was pulling her underpants from her bud. As the mystery hunk approached, he said to Shadya, “you swim like a fish”…. She wasn’t sure whether the Turkish accent was extremely sexy, or that he was so sexy even if he was barking! He told Shadya, that he was watching her swim, and that she must be a professional swimmer. Shocked from the overwhelming attention, Shadya replied by saying: “Yeah…No…heheh!”
His name was Murat, and her's Shadya; which conveniently felt like and old Egyptian movie, where the two lovers would run across the white sand beach calling each others' names. Murat was a swimming coach at the hotel, and he told Shadya that the pool was much more beautiful at night. Shadya knew this was a pick up line, but didn’t mind being picked up by Murat. She explained to the girls how this night was the most, exhilarating, exciting, adventurous night she ever had in her life.
Sandy and Anne were both thrilled that the somewhat-uptight Shadya did something so wild. As Shadya was going on with her wild story, the girls were interrupted by a “sushi musketeer”. He was wearing a shirt unbuttoned down to his navel, with pointy brown Texas-boots (so pointy, that they could end the life of roach in a corner), and a huge golden necklace carrying a golden Ferrari horse. He sported an egotistic smile and said: “Hello Sabaya…Kifna!??” (Which meant, hey girls…how you doing?). Sandy couldn’t wait to cease the opportunity, with an instant “No, Thanks” and a death-stare. They guy’s ego was shattered, as he walked back to his table in shame, while the girls resisted bursting up in hysterical laughs.
Then they decided to change their venue, in order to finish Shadya’s story in peace. They ordered some cocktails at a near-by pub as Shadya went through with her Turkish fantasy. Shadya spent the rest of the day shopping, tanning, and sight-seeing with her mom in Marmaris. She wanted to tell the girls about all the interesting things she saw, but the girls were not so interested, hustling her to know what happened with Murat. After “mother hen” went to sleep, Shadya flew away to meet with the sexy coach at the pool. She was scared, nervous, but excited. They two started chatting, he taught her a few Turkish words, like: “Merhaba (Hello)…teÅŸekkür ederim (Thank you) …and she taught him a few Lebanese words like “kiss e5tak” and “Manyak” (Lebanese curse words, which are considered part of the local culture).
As they heard footsteps coming to the pool, they jumped in, so that no one could see them. It turned out that those footsteps, where just passers-by, however Shadya didn't mind being corned by the Turkish delight in the pool, as Murat fished for an opportunity for a perfect kiss. He was approaching the wet and naughty-on-vacation, Shadya… Meanwhile Anne and Sandy were fully focused to hear what happened next, while shocked that Shadya dared to do such a thing behind her mother's back! Unfortunately Shadya’s phone rang…It was “mother hen”, hustling Shadya to come home…

A Naughty Dream and a Dirty Conversation!

A Naughty Dream and a Dirty Conversation!

The nightclub looked like the perfect sinning scene for Anne. Tonight was the night she lets her new wild self act likewise. Strange enough her sinning partner was Ahmed. The two kept looking at each other all night as if they could understand each other. As they both started dancing, Ahmed kept pushing closer and closer towards Anne’s body. As weird as it sounds, it didn’t feel any awkward. Anne was melting between Ahmed’s broad arms and slowly giving in…
The nightclub was crowded, but there was no one there! Ahmed started caressing Anne’s neck, but she couldn't handle it anymore. She slowly pulled away from Ahmed and started walking away while her bra strap slipped to her shoulder. He kept staring at Anne, until she looked back at him and then at the bathroom.
Ahmed followed Anne to the nightclub’s bathroom and locked the door behind him. They starred at each other for 30 seconds while heavily breathing. The two starting kissing passionately, as if their lips belonged to each other. Anne recalled Tarek’s kiss while comparing that of Ahmed’s, and was relieved to know that kissing is actually great but Tarek was lousy. Ahmed’s Hands took a life of their own, soon enough they were storming Anne’s body like a pirate looking for treasure.
Anne wanted to stop him but felt helpless while he pulled up Anne’s skin tight black dress. When Ahmed held Anne against the sink, she felt somewhat rested, for her knees couldn’t carry her any more. As he was reaching for Anne’s underpants she heard a deep voice calling her name!
“Anne…Anne…” her mother yelled… it’s time to wake up!  The fact that Anne had a sex dream about her buddy Ahmed was more appalling to her, than the fact that she had a sex dream. While having lunch with her family Anne wondered if the dream was a result of too much drinking, too much movies, or compressed sexual feelings for Ahmed.
She was confused for days, as she ignored Ahmed’s calls and texts, until she had enough and decided to talk to someone about it. Shadya was away on a vacation with her mother in Turkey and so Anne decided to ask her sister. Sandy and Anne were cruising around in Anne’s car, while Anne was trying to figure out a way to ask her sister. Then suddenly and out of nowhere, Anne asked Sandy if she ever had a sex dream. Sandy replied with a careless tone saying of course and asking Anne for the reason she is asking.
Anne explained to Sandy what happened, and waited for the reaction. Sandy told Anne, that the fact that she had a sex dream was because of her sexual hormones and dirty mind, which happen to be normal at this age, and the fact that her sexual partner was Ahmed meant that she had compressed feelings towards him. This was the exact answer that Anne didn’t want to hear!
Later on, Anne chose to ignore the issue and move on; hence compressing her feelings towards Ahmed further more. She was scared and insecure, not knowing whether or not Ahmed shared the same feelings for her.
The sex dream situation was a dark spot for Anne; however, it brought light into Anne’s relationship with her sister Sandy. The two had 4 years of age difference and used to live completely different lives. The dirty conversation showed both, Anne and Sandy, that now they are both mature and can have mature conversations. Since that day Sandy and Anne became inseparable, sharing their lives, friends, and adventures with each other.
Meanwhile Ahmed was frustrated, thinking that Anne grew apart from him. He wondered every time she ignored his calls, if she had noticed the fact that he is now attracted to her. He felt helpless and desperate. The first time he became aware of his feelings was when one of his friends said that Anne was “Kteer Taybe!!” (The Lebanese term for very Hot). Ahmed was furious, while his friend was shocked from the reaction. He said to Ahmed that he must have feelings for Anne or else he wouldn’t have gone crazy like he did. The proud Ahmed of course denied, but deep down he knew it was true!

The Wild Redhead

The Wild Redhead

The day after the prom, Anne felt very confident. She proved to herself that she could actually have the hottest boy in school. Tarek kept calling Anne, but she ignored him, she was bored, ready for the next adventure, and over Tarek. Throughout the week Anne and her father (a successful attorney) fought over her choice of major in university. Anne wanted to take a year off and figure out what she wanted for a career, but her father was determined to enroll her in law school.

After talking to her mother and sister, Anne decided to obey her father, under her own terms. Anne told her father, that she might love or hate law school, and so, she will try her best for one year and that he shouldn’t stand in her way if she chooses another major. Being daddy’s little girl, the deal was sealed with a bonus brand new Toyota Rav4.

Driving her new car and enjoying her new found independence, Anne had one unanswered question. She called Tarek and they both agreed on coffee at a café in Hamra. During coffee, Tarek showered Anne with compliments and kept talking about how great prom night was, as she nodded her head and smiled. Then, she said it, loud and clear: “why do you like me Tarek?” The confused Tarek kept laughing and stuttering his words asking Anne what she meant. He finally answered, “I like you because you’re nice, you’re beautiful, and you have a big…huge heart” (while staring at Anne’s cleavage)! At that moment Anne realized that she was right, Tarek was a disposable airhead and he probably had a tiny…brain (referring to his –you know what-)!
On a sunny Thursday of that summer, Anne and Shadya were going back home from the beach. Anne felt a deep voice asking her to do something wild, daring, and adventuress. Flashing her boobs in public was out of the question, and smoking something illegal was out of reach, then suddenly there it was…A huge poster covering the window of this hairdresser. It was love at first sight…Anne walked in the store with Shadya, and asked the worker for the exact hairdo from the poster. Shadya was frightened, she tried to convince Anne to talk about it, but Anne was done talking as she was aching for action.

3 hours and $100 later, Anne was ready to conquer. She looked exactly the way she wanted to, and felt almost complete. Shadya’s jaw dropped 7 inches, but the shock was a positive one. As she walked outside the store, she felt like everyone was starring at her, she even imagined paparazzi and a huge crowd applaud, as if everyone on the streets wanted to be her or be with her... Anne is now a Redhead! Not a cute, innocent, country girl redhead; more like a fiery, fierce, Rihana gone wild redhead!
Her mother hated it, her father didn’t notice it, and Anne was obsessed with it! Anne felt flattered whenever someone called her crazy or daring, as she felt like she needed to do more and push the envelope even further. That summer was a crazy one for Anne, she met a lot of boys but had zero boyfriends, and she did absolutely anything she felt like doing.

One night Anne partied at a local night club. A Few of her friends where there, including her buddy Ahmad. The clubbing scene seemed ridiculous to Anne. It seemed like there are rules to be considered cool in the clubs. Alcohol is a must, but not just any kind of alcohol; if you drink a beer then you can’t handle hard liquor. If you drink vodka with orange juice, then you can’t handle hard liquor but you want to show that you can. If you drink vodka on the rocks then you can handle hard liquor but will most probably end up throwing up in the bathroom! The girls dressed up in skinny super tight super short clothing, and the boys flaunted their muscles wearing shirts extremely tight on the sleeves and unbuttoned down to their navel. The rich crowd would compete on who can buy the biggest bottle of Champagne, and the D.J. is considered the king of the world.

That night Anne danced like a party animal, drank like fish, and had her first sex dream!

The Butterfly and the Bee

The Butterfly and the Bee

Tonight was the night that Anne proves herself capable of attracting men, looking sexy, and walking in six inch heels. Even though entering the prom venue seemed wrong without her best friend, Shadya, still she was determined to the mission (the first kiss).

Shadya was raised by her single and strong mom that apposed a night out for Shadya and considered the graduation ceremony as “a good enough celebration”. Shadya cried herself to sleep that night even though she sounded careless while on the phone with Anne earlier. She felt that crying would expose her weakness to others, and deep down she wasn’t even able to trust her best friend enough to show her weakness. Anne knew how Shadya really felt, but she preferred to mock the prom bash saying that she wanted to go home and leave this lame party, in order to ease Shadya’s thoughts and maybe make her less sad and lonely (it didn’t really help).
Anne caught more attention than she had anticipated. The weirdest thing about that night was the way Ahmed was talking to her. He used a deep tone and lame catch lines as he winked. As Anne felt weirder with Ahmed’s attitude towards her, prince charming, Tarek, walked across and said Anne’s favorite word since the day before Christmas: “Hey!” Thanks to all those nights training in front of her bathroom mirror, Anne replied gracefully saying: “Hi!” Then, Tarek said the most unexpected, most exciting, and most exhilarating, complete sentence in Anne’s life: “Dance with me…”
As the D.J played Engelbert Humperdinck’s hit slow song “How I love” (a song you would hear at every wedding and during every slow dance at that time) Tarek and Anne danced… During their dance Tarek finally popped the question “Do you want to go for a ride with me?” Anne imagined balloons and sprinkles dropping from the ceiling as Toni Baroud (an enthusiastic Lebanese anchor) yelled: “Wel3eeettt….Shar2aaattt” which means “It’s on fire…” After 30 long seconds of trying to keep it together, she replied: “yeah…sure!”

There they were, sitting in the car overlooking the sea, and taking awkward long sighs, when suddenly Anne remembers that Tarek has a girlfriend. Anne felt confused and upset, she didn’t want to be the other girl, and she didn’t want to ask him and seem like she cares, and so she pretended that her leg hurts and then said: “it hurts so much, even though it’s just a little twitch; I can’t imagine how painful it must be to break your leg!”

Tarek:” Yes, indeed!”

Anne: “which reminds me of that poor girl from school...what’s her name?”

Tarek: “who?”

Anne: “You know that odd looking four eyed girl, with braces and black hair…I think her name is Sumaya…or Suraya…something like that…” Anne knew her name was Rana, but she wanted to sound as careless as possible.

Tarek: “I don’t know which one you’re talking about”
Anne: “Sure you do, you were standing with her during recess the other day...”

Tarek: “Me?? I don’t think so!”

Anne: “Well, yeah …I mean I don’t remember exactly...But am sure it was you…you were wearing blue shoes and a brown belt…I even heard someone say she was your girlfriend”

Then Tarek posed for a few seconds and said:”oh! You mean Rana?

Anne (carelessly): “Rana, Suraya, Souad…It’s all the same!”

Tarek (confused): “Well, she is not my girlfriend…but anyway what does that have to do with breaking you’re leg?”

Anne felt a deep sense of victory and satisfaction, and then said in a sarcastic, careless tone: “Never mind…were not going to sit here and talk about Sumaya all night”.

Tarek then laughed and said: “you’re unbelievable…you’re so funny!”

The shy Anne, smiled and said thank you, and then the next best thing happened.
Tarek held Anne’s hand, and used his other hand to softly touch her face as he came closer …and closer …and closer…and there it was…Anne’s first kiss! You know those scenes from romantic chick-flicks where the girl feels butterflies in her stomach as she kisses the man of her dreams, embraced between his strong arms as their lips move in perfect harmony? This was nothing like that! The seat-belt was choking her, there was too much saliva, and she couldn’t feel a single butterfly not even a bee!

The Devious Temptress

At age 18 Anne became a beautiful young woman who had fallen in love more than once already. The first time was at age 13 when she came across a phenomenon called Johnny Depp in a romantic chic-flick called “Chocolate”. The second time was at age 16 when she googled a place called Italy or what she called “wonderland”.
The third time was at Shadya’s house. The two were hiding in Shadya’s room, smoking and watching “Friends”, when suddenly the most amazing thing walks in the room.  Hussam, Shadya’s younger brother, was young awkward and hot for his age, and as he walked towards them he said to his sister with a rough voice and a shy approach:”here is the DVD you wanted…” Anne remembers that day as if it was yesterday, the day when her most profound love story took place, the moment when she found her better half, the DVD that started the never ending love story between Anne and the greatest band on earth: Led Zeppelin!
Even though Anne’s love stories didn’t include tangible men, she never felt the need to a fill a void, she never felt like she was incomplete or that she was missing a better half to become whole. Having said that, Anne felt a strong attraction towards someone in her senior year. He was tall, not so dark, but extremely handsome. She and Shadya would chase him around the school yard, whereas Anne and Tarek would exchange eye contact and occasional smiles when his girlfriend wasn’t around. He had a rough, deep, and manly voice and six packs that gave Anne six additional reasons for additional attraction.
On a day ahead of the Christmas vacation, Anne and Shadya finally found a reason to talk to the “The Jagal” (a Lebanese expression for Hunk), Tarek. Thinking that Christmas was a joyous holiday, the two decided to spread joy across the school, and so they did. They both circled around happy and gloomy schoolmates wishing them a Merry Christmas, in a very loud and extreme way, until they reached the ultimate commando.
As they came near Tarek, Shadya pushed Anne towards him and coughed out loud. There it was, the most awkward 30 seconds in Anne’s life. She stood there silently with wide eyes, red cheeks, and a smile larger than Texas, until Tarek Said: “Hey…”. Anne wanted to jump up and down until she landed on her knees yelling “Thank You Lord”, she even imagined rain pouring on her face; but instead she replied: “Hi, hey, Hello, Marhaba (the Lebanese Hi)!”
Tarek laughed, and said:”oh, I love you so much, I think you’re so funny, I have always wanted to talk to you… you’re so cute you remind me of my younger sister”.
Anne then drew a long face and started seeing stars in the sunny sky, for the conversation played in her head was different than the actual one, whereas according to her Tarek said: “I love you so much, bla bla bla bla bla …you are so cute…bla bla bla …marry me!”.
When she finally came back to reality Anne was standing alone outside school, she felt an annoying constant poke and a deep sound, which turned out to be Shadya calling her an idiot for behaving like a total bimbo!
That day, Anne went home with a level of confidence than the Empire State building, she thought to herself that she could actually have Tarek if she wanted to, and was determined to the mission. On prom night Anne felt the need to reveal the devious temptress inside of her. Since it was her first night out, she thought it was the perfect night to do everything for the first time, and so she did. Hair down, 6 inch heels, sexy make up…and a first kiss!

The Delicate Flower and the “New Bomb-Shell”

The age sixteen marked a new era for Anne. Her interests became different than that of her family’s and her mind was more shattered and confused than ever. She took refuge in American TV shows, and so she would stay in her room watching “Desperate Housewives” while her family enjoyed “Kalem EL Ness” in the living room.
As her interests grew, so did Anne’s “body-parts”. While walking home from the groceries store one day, Anne encountered her first male attention.  A stranger on the side walk yelled “Yo2borne Tizo”, (a common vulgar expression used by Lebanese street gigolos) as she walked by; which is Lebanese for: “I hope your butt buries me”!
The “vulgar compliment” made her feel embarrassed and flattered at the same time, a feeling that soon changed into disgusted as she heard it more often. Anne’s mother noticed the changes her body was going through and decided it was time to have “the young lady shopping spree” (It wasn’t really a shopping spree, they were on a 50$ budget). They both got dressed and went to a lingerie store where Anne got introduced to lace panties, G-strings, and push-up bras… After the 50$ shopping spree, Anne’s mother gave her “The mother-daughter femininity speech”. The next day Anne arrived to school tucked, pushed, and brain feed (ready to conquer the world)! She now understands how delicate her flower is (virginity), how important it is to keep it out of reach until “Ibn El 7alel” (the Arabian expression for prince charming) opens it.
Comparing her virginity to a delicate flower seemed ironic to Anne! She remembers the woman from the “bad movie” she watched at 2 in the morning, 2 years ago…she thought to herself: “Her flower seemed wide open rather than delicate”!
School wasn’t exactly Anne’s Disneyland; she had one guy friend and no girl-friends. While all the girls squeezed themselves in the 10m2 bathroom during recess, painting their facing and stuffing their bras; Anne would sneak a cigarette with Ahmed in the back window of the school’s hallway! She wasn’t exactly a “bad girl” she simply wasn’t interested in hanging out with the “airbrushed good girls”.
One morning, while Anne and Ahmed where adjusting to the overrated morning sunshine, Ahmed noticed a new girl. She was a tall brunette with a “J-lo” butt and an awkward edgy look. Ahmed hormones hit the roof as he convinced Anne to go talk to her and introduce the new bomb shell to him. Even though Anne felt aggravated while doing so, Shadya (the new bombshell) became Anne’s best friend…

Discovering the Hoe Inside!

She is a young ambitious girl from Beirut, Lebanon...Her dreams and desires disagreed with her reality, and the things she had to do where certainly not the things she wanted to do!
Anne grew up in a semi traditional family; she had one sister and no brothers (which she always thanked god for). Her family was amazing in so many ways but suffocating in others.
As a young toddler she thought that growing up would be the coolest thing on earth, and as she grew up she wished to become a toddler again.
As a teenager she became more acquainted with her inner-sexuality, and hence she realized that "that thing down there" is not only for pee-pee! More and more questions started to rise in her head, and as she wondered she felt guilty. Her mother explained to her how god would strangle her in her sleep if she lied, and that if she sinned she would burn in hell for eternity!

At age 13 Anne had her period, and she felt like a complete woman, like most 13 year olds feel today! However, her biggest shock came at age 14 at around 2 in the morning!
Every once and a while Anne and her family would watch a Hollywood movie, some were scary, others were romantics, and a few were quit confusing. One night the family gathered and tuned in to watch an action thriller starring the “the hero” Jean Claude Van dam. The plot was simple: Bad Guys v/s Good Guys and a hot “innocent” chick that needed a last-minute saving for a massive explosion, or a brutal slaughter. The confusing part was a scene in a train. In that scene the lead character (played by Van Dam) says a few cheesy lines and then approaches the “hot innocent chick” while the sex music played and they both started kissing. At this moment a question popped in Anne’s mind, why do they take off their clothes while kissing? She thought they could easily kiss while fully dressed…So Anne asked her mother!
The mother gracefully replied with the most appropriate and convincing answer that any mother should say: “turn your head around and don’t look at such disgraceful scenes…” and then yelled: “…such an impolite and shameless girl!”
Her mother’s reply stopped her from wondering out loud, but didn’t end the confusion until that night at 2 in the morning! Anne couldn’t sleep and she had a tummy ache, so she figured she’d better go to the living room and watch some TV, and so she did… She started flipping through the channels but couldn’t find any good show to watch until she stopped at what she thought was a mother giving birth!
The camera was zoomed on something of skin color (what she thought was a fetus) coming out of the woman’s “thing down there”, so she kept watching to see the miraculous process of giving birth, however, something was wrong… The “baby” was going in out over and over again, and the poor woman was in so much pain screaming and calling for god’s help!
Suddenly, the camera started to zoom out, and Anne wondered why the “baby” was bottle shaped and wrinkled…and then it struck her…the “baby” was not a baby at all…it was a man’s “thing down there”! Anne’s feelings became even more confused, and more questions circled in her head…what are they doing? If she is in pain, why wouldn’t he stop? Where is Jean Claude Van Dam?
Then, Anne was enlightened! This is why they take off their clothes while kissing…this is how they make babies…this is why mama told me not to open my mouth while eating or legs while sitting…
At that moment, that night Anne felt guilty, disgusted, and something down there! That night witnessed the birth of Anne’s Inner-hoe!
